| A time to really grow up |

As I sit here in the theater room of casa de .darkhour. it is late. I am completely floored of the impending doom that is going to happen in less then 2 months. And you maybe sitting there wondering, "What is this impending doom??". I'll tell you what it is: My first born will be here. It is scary enough that there is one of me in this world. To add another, well that is just downright devastating in biblical proportions! I feel very inspired by this situation surprisingly enough, and would love to enter my studio and get some stuff recorded, but I have to paint the babys room, or refurb the bathroom or something else that life throws out at me that takes my free time from you. I promise, something will be released. Fatherhood has put a cramp in it. Until next time, I thank you for reading. If you're reading. I have no idea, I am probably just typing this into the cyber abyss of nothingness that is largely ignored and unread. But if you are reading my ramblngs, thanks and feel free to comment or ask any questions. Hopefully I can get to them before I release something new. | An update and Amish go wild. |

I have to say that this summer has been relentless. I just got back from Philadelphia, part business, part pleasure. It was alot of fun. We went up to Lancaster for a couple days and I had forgotten how beautiful it is up there. I really don't know how the Amish do what they do without going "Why the fuck am I doing this??" On a music note, I am finally cleaning the studio up so I can continue work on the new album. I have a ton of ideas and it pulls me in different musical directions. To the right I opened a new poll that asks "What direction should I take this??" I have been going back and forth between industrial, hard rock, trance to almost an ambient Massive Attack type. Which btw, if you haven't heard of Massive Attack, check them out. They're pretty bad ass! Baby is coming along good, so far everything is healthy and on track. So here we are, the start of a blistering hot summer after a unseasonably cold winter. The wife is pregnant with our first child. It's amazing how much it changes your life. We're having a girl, so i'm going to have to look for a shotgun to keep the boys away! Due to this crazy development, the next .darkhour. album is going much slower than anticipated. One of these days, it'll be done. I'm hoping with the new addition, some new inspiration will come. However I am hoping that that when it happens, it is not a 'darkhour'. I'm also working on mixing my other projects album, Super Swampers second album which wrapped recording in March. Again, that one is crawling as well, Clint had his baby... (see a pattern here?)
